On Thursday November 18th, the owners of George and restaurant George W.P.A. introduce the George Deli franchise formula. The pilot store of this new concept is located on the Utrechtsestraat above Marqt, the 'real food' shop. George Deli U.S.A. brings a mix of all-time classics like mac & cheese, club sandwich and the famous tuna pizza. Besides that there are some typical French dishes such as fruit de mere, charcuterie and oeufs à la coque on the menu, next to the best to-go coffees, wines and champagne.

On the 4th of November we celebrated the launch of the new Martini Spumante in Bar Italia, together with their new commercial, sung by new vocal talent Krystl. Martini Spumante, Italian for sparkling wine, contains playful and tender bubbles. This refreshing drink comes in Prosecco, Brut, Rose and Asti. Golden balloons and romantically dressed hosts, decorated the room with a glamorous and festive vibe. Krystl gave us a mind-blowing live-performance of the mesmerizing Martini song ‘Golden Days’. “Made for pleasure not ceremony to be opened anytime. Enjoy your Martini Moment.”

Last Friday the Dutch Fashion Awards took place in The Hague. Designer Iris van Herpen was the big winner of the evening. She won the Dutch Icubator Award for her impressive talent. Also she won the Dutch Fashion Accessory Award for her shoes that were made in collaboration with United Nude. And last but not least she won the big Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Award, for her pure creativity and modernity. Designer Bas Kosters won the International Fashion Incubator Award 2010, a prize that rewards his highly creative collection, explosive energy and modern creativity.
