visitors. Floriade 2012 and JANTAMINIAU will be joining forces in an
extraordinary partnership, in which designer Jan Taminiau will be
responsible for creating five unique designs, organizing a
masterclass and the Floriade Fashion show. There is a huge overlap
in the core beliefs held by JANTAMINIAU and Floriade. An exceptional
co-operation between two ‘Dutch icons’ with international appeal. On
May 11, JANTAMINIAU showed his Nature Extend collection during the
Floriade Fashion. The students from the masterclass showed their
pieces as well.

Spectacular 3D projection
Enter The Human Age, Gashouder, Westergasfabriek
On Sunday April 1st the Gashouder in Amsterdam's vibrant Westerpark became the stage of a spectacular 3D projection. To celebrate the new era and the new name Experis (formerly known as Vitae and part of the ManpowerGroup). Showcasing a trip through different time era's and finally arriving in the Human Age. A new reality in which human talent is the differentiator. The projection is a true novelty in terms of projection mapping because the shape of the over a hundred year old building (from 1902), a cylinder shape steel tank that extended telescopically to a height of 40m. The projection was directed and produced by PostPanic for Experis Netherlands.

Iris van Herpen x Groninger Museum
From 24 March to 23 September 2012, the Groninger Museum will present the first large-scale solo exhibition of the work of Iris van Herpen (Wamel, 1984), one of the most striking designers of this moment. The exhibition offers an overview of her work from 2008 to the present. A selection of her most recent work, such as Capriole and the Micro collection that is to be shown in January 2012, will also be on display.
To accompany the exhibition, the first book on Iris van Herpen will be published. This volume contains an overview of all her collections up to the present, as well as an essay by fashion journalist Jean Paul Cauvin. The book will be issued in conjunction with BAi Publishers.
