Last weekend Sunday shoppers were surprised by a group of undercover dancers. They exposed themselves when a green truck with two DJ's, armed with huge speakers, drove up the Dam Square. On the catchy 'It's the inside that counts' tune of Glamour magazine the girls put on a dance performance, attracting a whole bunch of people that gathered around them. Glamour magazine set up this flash mob to kick off its big charity initiative called 'Detox your wardrobe'. With this campaign Glamour calls up all their readers to 'detox' their wardrobe, hand in these clothes that are bad bargains, too big, too small. On March 14 Glamour will open up a shop-in-shop for just a day in De Bijenkorf in Amsterdam and sell these collected clothes. Celebrities and designers have already shown their support and have donated pieces which will be auctioned and sold in the VIP store. The whole profit will be donated to Orange Babies, helping HIV infected women and their babies in Africa. Orange Babies also supports children infected with the virus or otherwise directly affected. So come, shop till you drop and support Orange Babies on March 14! To view the fashion mob on Dam Square Click here
