On 18 March designer Ilja Visser opened the first Ready to fish_ brand store. De store is located in the characteristic Christofori building in the heart of Amsterdam, between the well-known Nine Streets and the Leidsestraat, at the Prinsengracht 581. The concept of the store is quite unique: next to the clothing there is also room for hand-picked artwork, furniture, chocolate, perfumes and music. Each item has a special story and are often ‘specially made’ for Ready to fish_. The young interior designers of Le Lab made the special interior possible. Old cabinets, chairs, tables and vases were transformed into new furniture, entirely in white and finished with brass details.The brand store also features artwork, Limited for RTF, made by artist and industrial designer Paul Tas. He is known for his extraordinary sculptures made from materials such as porcelain and ceramics. Furthermore you will be able to purchase chocolate from the label Original Beans. For each bar sold, a new tree will be planted in the area it originated from. The packaging contains a code which allows you to trace and stay updated about ‘your’ tree.
