While the main hall of the fashion warehouse was crowded with fashion enthusiasts, Merle Deterink opened the Amsterdam Fashion Week Program with a sweet 'Alice in CAKEland' dress.
The highlight of the official opening was the special catwalk show with several designers, which introduced the start of the second ‘Fashion Week Designer Market’.
Designers like Dagmar, Daryl van Wouw, Roparosa, Marloes Blaas and INDIVIDUALS by AMFI, who are showing during AIFW, sell their fall/winter collections at the luxurious fashion department during Fashion Week DOWNTOWN.
Fashion Week’s public programme DOWNTOWN creates the opportunity for one and all to enjoy the Dutch fashion excitement during AIFW. With more than 60 locations presenting expositions, shows, shopping routes, launches and parties Amsterdam will be in de spirit of fashion from Friday July 9th till Sunday 18th.
