Spice PR Goes Berlin

We went from the 18-20 June on our company trip to Berlin. We had 2 busy days in the German capital and creative, fashion city Berlin. Our first day started early at 8 when we arrived. After a nice breakfast at Café Olive in Mitte and a fashion dictation that we had to do, we started walking in the area with a little shopping tour: from COS to Acne, Wood Wood, A.P.C. Bless and tons of other stores. We had lunch at Kuchi and some time for ourselves later on. On a Thursday night in Berlin there is only one place to be: Cookies! We had dinner at Cookies & Cream and partied afterwards in the famous Cookies club. Friday morning some of us went a little bit more shopping while others needed a little bit more of their beauty sleep. We spend the day with some classic tourism stuff: Brandenburger Tor, Checkpoint Charly from East to West and back again. We went for dinner to Grill Royal and for drinks to the Berlin hot spot: 1000 Bar. What a trip!

More Art

Yesterday, on Thursday June 11, 2009 was GLAMOUR-THE EXHIBITION! GLAMOUR together with Martini invited 62 different photographers to present a picture with the theme: Celebrate Shape. So they did: Wiglius de Bie, Marc de Groot, Roger Neve, Paul Bellaart and lots more showed their work in the oude Coberco Fabriek in Arnhem. The Exhibition is still running till July 6, 2009. It was a great opening in the name of shapes and fashion with Martini drinks and inspiring sentences on the walls.

On Wednesday June 10, the luxury mens wear brand Profuomo opened for the first time ever their doors to the Profuomo Gallery Store in their brand store on the P.C. Hooftstraat. The well known Dutch photographer Andy Tan was the first one to show his "Dreams by Andy Tan" series, on the 3rd floor of the store. Andy already shot a lot of Profuomo campaigns in the past and was honored to present his work. Fiona Hering opened the exhibition, which is still running till June 30, 2009. It was a busy evening with a lot of familiar faces. DJ Sunny Jansen took care of the music entertainment, while Martini served delicious cocktails!

Glammy Awards

Last Wednesday on June 3, 2009 was the very first Glammy Award Show in the Hotel de Goudfazant in Amsterdam-Noord. It is a beauty award show were mostly products and Dutch celebrities were the center of attention. The Glammy Awards are an unique collaboration between the fashion magazine GLAMOUR and ICI PARIS XL, were only consumers and readers could decide their perfume of the year amongst others and vote for their favorite VIP. In total there were 223.938 votes! The hosts of the night were Hanna Verboom and Roeland Fernhout, who welcomed the special performers of the night, the Belgium electro pop band: VIVE LA FÊTE. The event ended with a great after show party....
