On Saturday March 21, 2009 was the opening of the exhibition "Gejaagd Door De Wind" in the Zuiderzee museum in Enkhuizen. Dutch designers, stylists and illustrators showed their point of view on fashion and integrated it into the traditional Dutch dresses/garbs. The exhibition combines modern designs together with objects from the museum and Dutch rooted costumes. The designer Ivo Mittelmeijer transported his vision on traditional menswear, Jan Taminiau participated as well, dressing a male and female dolls in the theme. Guest currators are the well known designers Alexander van Slobbe and Francisco van Bethum. All in all it was a super interesting Saturday afternoon in the name of modern and old school dutch art designs.
