On Monday the 12th of July Ready to fish_ showed its Spring/Summer 2011 collection ‘Opposites Attract’ in a characteristic historical building at the Brouwersgracht in Amsterdam.
This is the first collection made by the new design team of Ready to fish_. Amazing shapes, expressive details and carefully selected fabrics define the collection with contrast as key of this season. Flowing, elegant details and silk tops and dresses are mixed with sharp tailored trousers and asymmetric blazers. Besides all over prints, the colours dark navy, hazy rust en dazzling red contrast with several nude tints and make a lovely coherent image. During the show music was played from the Ready to fish_ CD, which will be released in Augustus.
Moreover, every season Ready to fish_ presents eight exclusive designs around a different theme, where handcrafted details play an important role. This season the ‘8’ collection’s focus was on eight items for a special occasion.
