Today the actress Carice van Hourten visited our Showroom to pick some samples of her beloved brand Madé. And yes, it just fits her perfectly.

A Night Out

Two weeks ago, was the annual "Gastkokevent" in the famous Supperclub here in Amsterdam. The evening of the 15th of March belonged to the chefs Pascal Jalhaij and Mohammed El Harouchi. Both are Michelin holders and turned the night into a festival of special taste senses and great cuisine. Of course Supperclub was at its best this evening with great DJ's and a magical atmosphere. Yummy!

Traditions

On Saturday March 21, 2009 was the opening of the exhibition "Gejaagd Door De Wind" in the Zuiderzee museum in Enkhuizen. Dutch designers, stylists and illustrators showed their point of view on fashion and integrated it into the traditional Dutch dresses/garbs. The exhibition combines modern designs together with objects from the museum and Dutch rooted costumes. The designer Ivo Mittelmeijer transported his vision on traditional menswear, Jan Taminiau participated as well, dressing a male and female dolls in the theme. Guest currators are the well known designers Alexander van Slobbe and Francisco van Bethum. All in all it was a super interesting Saturday afternoon in the name of modern and old school dutch art designs.

The danish fashion institute DAFI did a small video presentation with best behavior for their AW08-09 collection, as a introduction for the "gallery messe".

We Heart Shoes

On Friday, March 13, 2009 was the biggest European shoe fair in Düsseldorf/Germany GBS. Replay Shoes organized a after party for the in crowd, international VIP Replay shoes contacts and of course for shoe lovers, to introduce their new online campaign (which will launch end of April) Our colleague Maartje Diepstraten was on location to capture some moments.
