The highlight of yesterdays AIFW was definitely the Lichting 2009 show. The concept of Lichting is simple: the best of 2009's graduates in one central catwalk show. 14 students presenting 5 of their strongest graduating pieces. The price: "G-Star Raw Talent Award". A very exclusive front row, as well as an international panel of fashion experts including Garance Doré (illustrator, photographer and blogger), Susanna Lau aka Susie Bubble, professor Wendy Dagworthy (one of the founder of London Fashion Week) and Lanvins menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, voted for their favorite new talent. Wow! The winner of the night was Ann Boogaerts, who used the Belgian queen, Fabiola as her muse. Congratulations Ann and of course to all of the other talented talents!
