Kadangas & Actress Hanna Verboom bring a bit of South Africa to Amsterdam's Luxury Shopping Street: PC Hooftstraat

The colorful sandal brand Kadangas are made out of recycled car tires and cork. Kadangas produce their fair sandals in Durban, South Africa. They create employment for a group of 120 (and growing) people from the nearby slums. Kadangas provides a step forward for the community by empowering these people by creating jobs for them.
Dutch A-List actress Hanna Verboom went to visit the factory and the surrounding slums of which a beautiful report was shot. Hanna also founded an online platform GET IT DONE together with a bunch of driven and talented friends. GET IT DONE offers a platform for small development aid projects and helps to GET THEM DONE!
