HUGO Show @ Berlin fashion Week

In the early afternoon of January 19, the HUGO collection for Fall/Winter 2012 was presented at Berlin's hallowed 'old Masters Museum,' the Gemaldegalerie. The new HUGO Mens- and Womenswear Collections were showcased on a catwalk by more than 30 top international models, including Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Liu Wen and Mathias lauridsen. 'Theatre' and 'Surreal Nostalgia' headline and inspire a collection that is defined by brilliant contrasts and features precision design, artful tailoring and flowing fabrics. JANTAMINIAU Tarnished Beauty @ Paris Haute Couture

JANTAMINIAU showed his Tarnished Beauty collection during Paris Haute Couture on January 23rd, 2012. The collection is designed to elevate women. For this purpose JANTAMINIAU deploys an army of beauty. The collection is feminine, colorful and extravagant with fragile forms, tarnished delicate fabrics underneath and in contrast with this glittering armor.

BULGARI AT THE GOLDEN GLOBES 2012

The city of Los Angeles celebrated the 2012 Golden Globe Awards last Sunday, January 15th. Award winner Claire Danes wore beautiful platinum earrings with princess cut diamonds from Bulgari’s High Jewelry Collection, and a stunning bracelet in 18kt white gold with diamonds. Actors and actresses such as Jessica Alba, Jodie Foster, Emily Deschanel, Mark Wahlberg and Sarah Michelle Gellar also sparked up the red carpet wearing extraordinary Bulgari pieces.

Hans Ubbink AW12/13 collection presentation

Last Monday night Hans Ubbink presented his new AW12/13 collection in a full Gashouder in Amsterdam. The designer surprised the audience with exciting silhouettes such as ¾ length trousers, unique art-deco-inspired photo prints and an eclectic mix of materials such as silk, cashmere, leather, cotton, wool and viscose. The collection evolves around the deux-piece in a variety of combinations: a jacket with a skirt, pants or dress for women and a shirt with pants, jacket or a tie for men, executed in the same photo print design and/or the same colour scheme varying from neutrals to must have browns and blacks and rich elegant colours like green, red and purple.

Nike Sportswear presents Crafted For Destruction X Zlatan Ibrahimović

Nike Sportswear celebrates Zlatan’s glorious career, acknowledging his achievements to date by designing him a bespoke NSW Destroyer Jacket. The jacket is both a symbol of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's past achievements and those to come. His hunger for success like every true athlete will never diminish; there are always more games to win and titles to take. On the pitch Zlatan plays with his own unique style and with a single-minded goal; to be the best.

”I try to have my own style both on and off the pitch, to get a jacket this unique was very unexpected and exciting. I have worked hard to earn my success and this jacket reflects that, but this is simply a moment in time, there’s plenty still to accomplish.” said Zlatan Ibrahimović.

With this unique bespoke Destroyer Jacket, Nike Sportswear celebrate not only Zlatan, but also the heritage of the varsity jacket. On a standard varsity jacket, letters and patches would be sewn on to tell the world about the achievements of the athlete wearing it. But when it came to this jacket it was decided to use some of Zlatan’s tattoos and mirror these on the destroyer jackets exterior. To make it authentic Nike Sportswear involved Zlatan’s tattoo artist Christian Wagner to guide them and fashion designer Julia Hederus to help translate his tattoos onto the fabric of the jacket.

Tuesday morning we had a lovely surprise at the office. Sinterklaas had surprised Spice PR with a visit!!Everybody got a really cool American Apparel Nail polish and of course somedelicious ‘pepernoten’. Like every Tuesday morning we start the day with our weekly meeting. On Wednesday Julie and I had a Replay event in George W.P.A. During the event Nikkie Plessen was presented as the newest ambassador for Replay. The food (as always) was great! Back at the office I had to send out the press release about Nikkie for Replay. I was asked by one of my best friends Liza to join here to a benefit for the Health E Foundation. After the dinner you could place your bids on some amazing prices but this one was my favourite. Unfortunately I went home empty handed but I had a great night!

Nikkie Plessen new ambassador Replay

On November 16th Nikkie Plessen was introduced as the new ambassador of denim label Replay. During an Italian lunch at George W.P.A., which was completely transformed into a 'Cipriani-meets-Replay 'atmosphere, Carlo Ferilli (Replay Netherlands) and Matteo Sinigaglia ( Replay's CEO ) announced Nikkie as their new ambassador for the Netherlands.
